Opioid Substitution Treatment: More Choices, Better Outcomes

27.09.17 (London): a free workshop to improve and refresh knowledge of Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) choices and how to improve outcomes for people who use drugs problematically.

We are very pleased to offer this workshop free of charge for GPs, Allied Health Professionals, and CCG drug leads in London. The workshop will consider the following:

  • Reviewing the evidence base for opioid substitution treatment (OST)
  • Making delegates aware of the range of treatments and how to use them.
  • Looking at how improving choice improves outcomes.
  • Discussing how harm reduction and OST fits with UK Drug Policy and abstinence/recovery agenda.

and will include a discussion on OST - what works, what works less well, what can we do to improve outcomes and case studies. 

Date: Wednesday, 27th September 2017.

Venue: St Anne's Church (Community Hall), 55 Dean Street, Soho, W1D 6AF.

Time: from 1 p.m. and lunch will be served.
