Conference 2018.  A SHOT IN THE DARK. Steroids …. IPEDs …. the hidden harm | 26/04/18 | COLCHESTER, ESSEX

The conference will present national and international trends in the use of IPEDs, strategies for supporting and
treating users, including Open Road’s SWEAT Project, and the wider implications for public health. Participants
from diverse professions will have the opportunity to share their knowledge, views and experiences.
Conference Speakers are leading academics and expert practitioners in the use of steroids from a sports, image
enhancing and treatment perspective.

The conference will be of relevance to professionals in: substance misuse, community health, police,
probation, gym management, employee welfare and young people’s education.

iCAAD London Conference | 07/09.05.18 | LONDON

International Conferences on Addiction and Associated Disorders is an ongoing series of global events facilitating an open dialogue on addiction and other behavioural health issues. Their international platform is dedicated to expanding knowledge, exchanging ideas, and advancing the prevention and treatment of Behavioural, Mental, and Emotional health issues.

The PhD Symposium will be held prior to the conference on Wednesday 7 November. The society lecture will be given by Professor Antoni Gual of the Clínic Hospital of Barcelona.

In addition to a new feature, ‘The Addiction Debate’, we welcome delegate-programmed symposia looking at new developments and current topics in addiction. Members are invited to submit their own sessions here. Up to four sessions will be chosen and will be funded by the SSA. Deadline; Sunday 11 February.

A limited number of funded places will be available for selected students presenting their work, and for PhD students volunteering as helpers.

2018 RCGP/SMMGP conference

The conference will be a two-day event this year, on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd November 2018 at RCGP, 30 Euston Square, London. More details will follow soon!
