About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Isle of Man Drug and Alcohol Team for a full time Deputy Manager. You will undertake line management responsibility for a team of Multi-Disciplinary Professionals in the field of substance misuse, supported by the DAT Manager.

This role will play a lead part in developing addiction services for the Island.

You must hold a recognised professional qualification in mental health or social care, including valid registration with the NMC/HCPC etc.

You will have a minimum of 3 years recent post-registration experience in substance misuse and dependency, with recent evidence of continued professional development.

You also represent the Drug and Alcohol Team at operational level and take responsibility for the day to day management of the team in the absence of the Manager. Together with the Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist and other agencies, you will take a lead role in the development and implementation of addiction services.

A driving licence and use of own vehicle is required.
